Mr. Vinay Bijawat is currently the Executive Director in charge of Risk Management and Business Development (for SME, Corporate, Leasing, Finance companies, Retail/Consumer Finance, Wealth Management) with BankT&D. Over the last few years, he has lead a number of large and complex consulting assignments in the areas of SME, risk management, auto finance and leasing and have facilitated boards of several financial institutions in their strategic plans both in the Middle East and Africa and Asia. He is an ex-Managing Director and EMEA Operating Committee Member of Citigroup, with over 30 years of international banking experience in senior Regional and Global business and risk management roles, covering Corporate Banking, Transaction Services, Asset Based Finance and SME. His SME experience is extensive, having been the Regional Commercial Banking Head (SME/MME) for CEEMEA, Regional ABF Head for CEEMEA, International Risk Head for Commercial Banking (SME/MME-Companies with sales up to USD 200 million) and has been a Member of the Global SME Executive Management team from inception of this segment within Citigroup.
